“Gloria” combines Richard Landry’s musical composition with excerpts from De Rerum Natura (On the nature of things) by the Latin philosopher Lucretius, 1st century CE, borne by the voices of a man, a woman and a child. They echo, in a secular way, the themes of the stained glass windows: the soul, the body, nature, the universe, the void, the creation of the world, the course of the sun, the relationship of humans to the universe.
