PIER LORENZO PISANO
Pier Lorenzo Pisano was born in Naples in 1991. He studies in Venice, graduating in Cultural Heritage Conservation. He starts an acting career specializing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). He deepens his interest in playwriting and receives positive responses in the major Italian drama and screenplay awards (Premio Tondelli, Premio Hystrio, Solinas Prize). Meanwhile, he works as actor and assistant director for cinema and theater, and as editor on various projects including the documentary Torn – Strappati, winner of a Nastro d’Argento and presented at Venice International Film Festival.
He combines his interest in acting and writing graduating as director at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma, with the short film Così in terra, selected at the 2018 edition of Festival de Cannes.
